Mass Media are media, which can be used to communicate and interact with a large number of audiences. One thing that all agree that mass media are Inseparable part of our lives. Entertainment and media always go hand in hand. Due to the addiction to the emps entertainment, mass Media also remain to be effective medium for communication dissemination of Information, advertising and marketing.


There are positive effects of the media as well as negative influences of media. Let's discuss about the danger and disadvantages of Mass Media Firstly, many people are too much time coasted on the internet and using media Nowadays, especially youngsters are addicted for mass Media Secondly, Some media unsuitable for children. hard to Access can be Some information available in Mass Media are not appropriate for children, because of that elders have to keep a check teenager on them and also when are learn about crimes from the media they may imitate and can do the same they may neglect their studies if they are only interested in the media. As an example, they are going Internet. for unnecessary things, playing online games. all the time, Chatting with unwanted persons, and etc. Thirdly, sitting Infront of Tv all the time, could cause health issues Some are creating fake profiles and Genting threats bullying and or such acts can of ruin the mental health and reputation of targeted individuals Finally, it is dangerous to believe all the information Supplied by the media because they exaggerate or give Wrong message from time to time.


We can follow few steps to protect ourselves from dangers of Mass Media. We do not have to share the personal information in mass media, we have to check our privacy settings always, we do not have to accept friend requests from strangers and finally we have to be careful when we share the location.

Therefore, we must have to work with Mass Media in media literacy and critically.
