  Last Blog My name is Seneth Mayura Fernando. At present I am doing Foundation Science Engineering at Nawaloka College of Higher Studies. Academic Literacies was the first subject I studied. The madam who taught that subject was Ms. Hemali Arachchige. There are 10 students in my class including me. Thavindu, Theekshana, Dhanuka, Hiruni, Nethmi, Abhisha, Oshadi, Nishath, Kasun are the once who are learning with me.   We are learning many things in the class. Even if some things are difficult, we all work together to solve them and move forward. In the class we are doing extra things also, like presentations, games etc.. Our knowledge is increasing day by day from all those things.   Madam teaches us her subject very well. Madam teaches us not only the educational facts but also good manners. She loves all of us as her own children. Madam loves well behaved children like us. She treats every child equally. Seriously I am very lucky to having such a good teacher.

  Today, I listened to Olympia Della Flora's TED TALK talks. She mentioned a student who had called D. He was a young boy of six. This guy, D, was well-known at his school for being quite mischievous and having a short fuse. This D-named child engaged in several peculiar actions and activities. He exhibited activities such as tipping tables and chairs over, yelling aloud, and scaling window ledges. D rose to fame among the students at the school as a result of his actions.  Hailey Hardcastle who was suffering from trauma induced anxiety and clinical depression from the age of 6, and because of that she started to help other kids who's having problems like her. She explains that even if everyone doesn't have her illnesses, but everybody has different mental health and mental illnesses can be manifested by physical ways such as nausea, headaches, fatigues and shortness of breath. When she was in first year of high school her hometown has had multiple suicide cases as she was the president of statewide group, she began to hear similar cases from students that had happened in their hometown.
